Sampling and Clearance TestingSampling - Many times you may suspect the presence of mold or visually see material that appears to be mold. However, without laboratory analysis there is no factual evidence to the nature of the substance. By sampling the material a certified lab will develop an extensive report on the nature and volume of the sampled material. AccuPro utilizes a variety of sampling techniques depending on the extent of the material and on what surfaces the material is deposited on. Sampling methods include: Air-O-Cell Cassettes or spore traps used to sample air within a confined space; wetted swabs or tape lifts to gather visual material from surfaces; and BioCassettes to do culturable air sample testing. Clearance Testing - clearance testing is typically done after the remediation or removal of contaminated material in order to provide the client with documentation or proof that the contamination has been properly removed and the area properly cleaned.
